The
Recreational Program completed its Fall Season this past weekend, in
multiple communities across Greater Houston brought to you by
AutoNation.
We are proud to offer a full developmental journey
for every player in the club (ages 3-18): from Recreational through our
nationally competitive elite teams, all the way to collegiate and
professional opportunities. The club believes in providing every child a
way to experience the game of soccer, regardless of ability or
experience.
This season over 3,300 players on 450 teams
participated in weekly activites to develop their soccer skills and love
of the game. Over 15,000 weekly spectators attended over 1,800 games
played at our facilities in Clear Lake, Friendswood, Fulshear, Humble,
Kingwood, League City, Sienna, Tomball, The Woodlands & Woodforest.
“We’d
like to sincerely thank the parents and spectators for creating a
wonderful atmosphere at our facilities during the fall season.
Additionally, we extend our gratitude to over 600 volunteer coaches, who
are the heartbeat of our program, and the reason so many players fall
in love with the game. We look forward to what promises to be another
tremendous spring season." Phil Ebner, Grassroots Director.
"On
behalf of the club, I would like to thank AutoNation for their
continued support of our largest program," said Simon Boddison, Director
of Soccer Operations. "They fully understand the important role and the
positive impact that youth sports play in our local communities. The
resources and tools that AutoNation helps to provide allows our
Recreational Program to continue to expand and serve our membership."
