Constable's deputy apprehends suspect in burglary of vehicleOn November 14, 2023, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office was actively patrolling in the 20700 block of Fox Hound Lane when he observed two male suspects burglarizing a lawn equipment vehicle. The deputy attempted to make contact but the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.
A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was apprehended and identified as Davion Smith. The passenger evaded on foot and a police perimeter was set, but he was not located. The stolen lawn equipment was recovered from the suspect vehicle.
"Davion Smith was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 12. Further investigation continues to identify the second suspect." - Constable Mark Herman
