On November 17, 2022, a corporal with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 14100 block of Will Clayton Parkway. The driver provided a fraudulent identification card.

After further investigation, he was positively identified as Chadd Gomes, who showed to have an open Felony Warrant for Driving While intoxicated 3rd Offence out of Harris County. He also had an open DWI warrant out of Fort Bend County.

"Chadd Gomes was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Fail to Identify Fugitive. His bond for the new charge was set at $1,500.00 out of County Court 12." - Constable Mark Herman

So he had two different open warrants for basically the same thing drinking and driving. And yet he only has to pay $150 to get out on bond. And what is he going to do drink again and drive until he kills someone. Talk about a revolving door

@Sweetie : It totally is. Our system is really flawed. I can't imagine how I would feel if he was out again and hurt or killed a family member of mine!!!
