On September 24, 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 17800 block of Woodland Hills Drive in reference to a vehicle crash. Upon deputies arriving, it was discovered that the at fault driver fled the scene.
 
Constable Deputies located the suspect vehicle at a nearby gas station and the driver was apprehended and identified as Daphne Hearne.
 
"Daphne Hearne was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Failure to Stop and Give Information. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time." - Constable Mark Herman
