A local man caught one of two suspects that were breaking into his neighbor's vehicle and held him until PCT 4 deputies showed up.
According to reports from PCT 4, on December 14, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 4200 block of Dune Berry Trail in Atascocita in reference to the Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.
Upon the deputy arriving, a Special Investigator with Child Protective Services advised he caught two suspects breaking into his neighbor's vehicle. He was able to detain one of the suspects, who was identified as Jose Perez .
Constable Deputies took custody and discovered that Jose Perez had two open warrants for his arrests, one for Aggravated Robbery of an individual over the age of 65.
Deputies will continue to investigate the identity of the second suspect who fled the scene. Once identified, Burglary of a Motor Vehicle charges will be filed.
