Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office investigators have arrested Ronald Johnson for arson of an Humble home back in October.
According to reports from the
Harris County Fire Marshal's Office, on October 18, the Atascocita Fire Department requested some help investigating a suspicious house fire in the 1600 block of Wooded Acres in Humble.
“It was determined that Johnson used an ignitable liquid and an open flame to set his former girlfriend’s house on fire,” said Public Information Officer Rachel Moreno. "Forensic evidence puts the defendant at the scene of the fire. Johnson was angry with the victim after she ended their relationship."
Johnson also lived at the residence until they had recently split up.
