Information from Constable Mark Herman's Office:
On June 11, 2017, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 19800 block of Kenswick Drive in Humble in reference to a family disturbance.
Upon arrival, Precinct 4 deputies made contact with a Hispanic male, identified as Zachary Lester (17, Kingwood) who was involved in a physical altercation with a family member. As the deputy attempted to detain Lester, he struck the deputy three times in the face with a closed fist. The deputy was eventually able to place Lester in Handcuffs without further incident.
While Lester was being escorted to the patrol vehicle, he repeatedly threatened to kill the deputy the next time he saw him on the street.
“Zachary Lester was arrested, charged with Assault on a Public Servant and Retaliation and booked into the Harris County Jail. His bond was set at $20,000.00 for each charge out of the 178th district court.” - Constable Mark Herman.
