A local man is now in the Harris County Jail after deputies discovered he was responsible for shooting a 16-year-old over the weekend.
According to reports from PCT 4, on March 18, 2018, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s office was dispatched to the 21000 block of Emery Mills Lane in Humble in reference to several gunshots in the area.
Deputy Constables discovered a 16 year old male had been shot in the leg. Witnesses provided a suspect vehicle description, which Deputy Constable’s quickly located. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Charles Barconey (22, Humble). The suspect Charles Barconey admitted to Deputies he shot the victim in retaliation for an earlier incident.
“Charles Barconey was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and booked into the Harris County Jail. His bond is set at No Bond out of the 178th District Court. ” – Constable Mark Herman
