Set up in-person or phone meetings with prospective TV or video clients.
I'm a commercial video producer and am looking to develop my Humble/Atascocita/Kingwood-area client base. This position would require someone to make cold calls to area businesses to identify those that have potential need of TV or web video services (commercials, promotional videos, product videos, etc).
I'd be the one going to the meetings that are set up.
This position could be done from your home, as it wouldn't require you to meet with any clients personally.
Skills Required:
Sales experience very useful, but not mandatory.
Familiarity with any of the specific industries that I produce videos for (medical/health, financial/banking, industrial (safety/training), educational, food/restaurant, church, automotive) is a big benefit.
Good phone skills and pleasant personality. Ability to learn some of the lingo of the TV/Video industry.
This position would NOT require someone to create video ideas or sell the potential client on the value of video (although that would be a big plus). All this position would have to do is identify a potential video customer and set up a meeting with me, where I'll do the rest.

20% commission on any project that results from that meeting. 5% on any project after that that the client hires me to do.
This is a new thing I'm trying out, so terms are negotiable and I'm open to your ideas on how to make this work even better.
